Why this exists
Every family has one. A shoebox, a photo album with the sticky pages, a manila envelope in somebody's hall closet.
And every family has that one photograph inside it — a couple, young, dressed in their very best, sitting close in a studio somewhere in 1962. Nobody remembers what the session cost. Nobody remembers the drive there. What they remember is holding that picture and thinking: that's them. That's where I come from.
